It’s a 1933 Duesenberg Model SJ Arlington Torpedo Sedan, nicknamed “Twenty Grand” because that’s how much fucking money someone spent on this car during the Great Depression, when the average family home cost $5700.

Yup. It’s housed in the Nethercutt Collection in LA, which I hope to visit in March.
